TFP TO REQUEST THAT PRES. MCVICKER RENAME LEGISLATURE

Titulians for a Parliament will write a letter to President Dennis McVicker asking that he rename the "Senate" , as it says in the Officials list to the "House of Representatives/etc." or the "Lower/Upper House of Titulia".

There is no "Speaker" in a Senate, but rather a "Senate President". We will also request that there be a Majority and Minority Leader (or Opposition Leader).

We feel that a legislature should come into creation properly and in the right way.

TFP Statement on end of LRP-RNC Coalition

The end of the LRP-RNC Coalition will not affect the Parliament movement. We have previously worked with the LRP without the Coalition, and we hope to continue to bring a common sense type of government to Titulia. The LRP have shown support for a Parliament - and that's the important factor. We need to overturn the Codex proposal, and we hope President Norton will hear us immediately.

PRESIDENT NORTON: I'LL STILL GO WITH CODEX PROPOSAL

Mr. President,
You are giving into Linardist-SDP demands that the people of Titulia ignored to get you elected President. Titulians have voted to delay the Codex proposal and you are enacting a problematic legislature. Last month, a proposition by Arts Secretary Alex Pijanowski (SDP) delayed the Codex Legislature and allowed for a legislature bill to be re-introduced. Yet, a proponent and ally of Codex - then-Pres. Reformer (SDP) did not make it substantive. TFAP urges Pres. Norton to either re-introduce Mr. Pijanowski's prop or make it substantive. You will be voted out and any legislation will be blocked if you do not do what the Titulian people demanded.
